Lighthouse Letterbox and Notepaper

Images on the cover of this popular letterbox are lighthouses framed in blues and shades of white, reflecting sky and sea.  The interior is lined with a dark blue which extends one of the shades of blue in the cover to the interior.

Size:  The letterbox measures just 8¾ by 6¼ inches.  Its size permits carrying in your handbag, making it easy to use when you have wait times at doctor’s offices, carpooling or while children play in a park.
Construction:  Sturdy —it can handle a lot of usage: carrying it about, frequent openings and closings as you revisit your treasured notes and cards and/or retrieve notes and cards for sending.

The Best Seat on the Planet – for exploring Victoria & Southern Vancouver Island from John veale

In this video you get to see an aerial view of Carmanah Point lighthouse.

Mr. Veale says:

Join me for another flight over some of the most beautiful country anywhere. We depart Nanaimo Airport (CYCD) for a flight of an hour and twenty minutes (Edited down to nineteen) We fly over some of the southern BC ‘Gulf’ Islands to the Saanich Peninsula, over Victoria International Airport (CYYJ) and follow the shoreline down the peninsula and around Victoria, BC’s Capital city. We continue NW along the coast and above the Strait of Juan de Fuca for approximately 90 miles or so. We then turn inland over Vancouver Island and follow tidal Nitinat Lake to its head and then on further to the head of Cowichan Lake. (Some very beautiful video here) From here we fly on to our point of departure, Nanaimo Airport. Enjoy, as we once again take in the view from the ‘Best Seat on the Planet” our Bushby Mustang ll C-GAIF.
